A service designed to make things easy
This website has been created by Supplytrain CIC – a not-for-profit that helps employers take part in government-funded employment schemes without the usual complexity.
We support employers to access Jobs Guarantee opportunities in Birmingham and Solihull, working closely with local delivery partner Catch 22, to make it simple to offer roles and access funding.
Six steps to accessing funding

Submit your interest and we’ll send you a quick enquiry form to fill in at a time that suits you.
We'll review and guide you
We’ll review your enquiry and confirm the next steps based on your location and vacancy.
Quick approval call
We’ll arrange a short call to talk through your role and make sure everything is set up correctly.
Add your vacancy
You’ll submit vacancy details through a simple to use online form, making it easy to reach eligible candidates.
We'll find candidates
We’ll shortlist suitable, eligible candidates and arrange interviews with your team.
Offer and start
We’ll support you to make an offer and get your new starter(s) in place quickly and smoothly.
Please note – Jobs Guarantee pilots are time-bound, so we’re set up to help you move quickly. Once you’re ready to go, we’ll guide you through each step – but we do expect employers to advertise roles, interview, make offers and start candidates within around 8 weeks. We prioritise employers who can move at pace and provide genuine, well-supported opportunities during the pilot.

We’ll make sure you’re aware of other funding and support available to your business – including Youth Guarantee and apprenticeship incentives – and let you know when Jobs Guarantee goves live in your area.

Employability support
Whilst we support employers through application and approval, Catch 22 provides dedicated support to each eligible participant – helping ensure the placement is a success for your business.
Catch 22 will:
- Work with the Job Centre to support candidates before they apply – helping them build confidence, prepare for interviews and get ready for work.
- Identify suitable candidates for your role and support them through the application process, so you’re meeting people who are ready to start.
- Stay involved once the placement begings – supporting both the individual and your line manager with onboarding, performance and ongoing development.
Catch 22 also manages the funding side of the scheme, including wage reimbursements.
Real examples of how this can work
Extra pair of hands
Many businesses could do with an extra pair of hands to support existing staff, but can’t always justify the cost. Jobs Guarantee allows you to bring in that added support, with funding to reduce the cost.
Specific project support
Many organisations want to improve how they work – whether that’s updating systems, refreshing content or organising data. Jobs Guarantee allows you to bring someone in to focus on a specific project you wouldn’t otherwise resource.
Extended working interview
Businesses need fresh talent coming through, yet interviews don’t always show someone’s true ability. Jobs Guarantee gives you time in a real role to assess someone’s work ethic, attitude and reliability.
